The Evolution from Bad to Good

Have you ever experienced bad day after bad day? Wondering what you did wrong to deserve it? If not, you are so lucky. If so, then we are in the same boat. I've been upset, unhappy, and stressed for a bit now, and I say it's time to stop. I am strong. I refuse to let bad days or events control my life. I refuse to feel weak, when I know I'm not. I refuse it. Everyone has their bad days. Some more then others, trust me. Should we let it define who we are? Of course not. I'm tired, I'm sure you are too, of all of these emotions. We need the light at the end of the tunnel.


Catching up with you guys...

Hey guys!
Sorry it's been a while..almost 2 weeks..since I've last posted. I hope you like my revamped page, I designed a few things and changed things up. I have a few things to quickly catch you up on so I'm gonna break this post up into sections, some of which that I will also make a separate detailed post for. I am also going to start incorporating more pictures in my posts for the visual people!


"Why/how are you still single?"

Okay, so how many of you have ever been asked or have asked someone: “why/how are you still single? You’re such a great person/so smart/so pretty/handsome (any variation).” I have been asked that so many times that I feel obligated to answer it on my blog. Let me start off by saying for most of my life I’ve been single.


Post Birthday

My birthday was really great! :) The party was fun! On my actual birthday I got home from my friend's house (I stayed the night there), ate breakfast, opened presents, took a 2 hour nap, saw a movie and got dinner with the fam and then stayed the night at my friends house and we had friends over.


Favorite Looks: Hot and Cold #1

Let me start off my saying that I was gonna do both parts in one post but this first part starting getting really long so I'm going to split it into two. Okay, so today I decided to do my two favorite looks. One for the chillier months and one for the warmer months! I'm also going to give you options if you want to wear the chillier option in the summer and vice versa.


Body Measurements!!

Okay so for our Sunday school class we're all doing a 30 day challenge. It consists of doing something of your choice for 30+ minutes for 30 days. Mine's physical conditioning, so anything in the gym or cardio, as long as I'm up and being active and workin' those muscles.

Why do I hate Splenda?

Splenda is a no calorie sweetner that claims to be made from real sugar, which is false. Not only does it taste gross to me, but it's chemically made from hydroxol and sucralose (it's also chlorinated). Okay let me not only pinpoint Splenda but all other zero calorie sweetners. The first time I had Splenda was in my coffee at work because they ran out of normal sugar. I stopped drinking coffee at work because I know the truth about splenda. BUT it was freeeezing in the office today and I happened to wear a dress so I needed coffee to stay warm, and decided to tell you guys about Splenda.


Are we addicted to cell phones?

Lately, I’ve been on an outdoorsy kick, I absolutely LOVE the outdoors, but as I walk through the park I see people after people sitting on benches glued to their tablets, phones, or laptops. I contemplate the necessity of all of the electronics we cherish- cell phones, internet, and social media. Are they necessary? 15-20 years ago there were more face to face conversations, more time spent outside, and a lesser state of dependency on electronics. I am guilty as well, but as I sit here at my desk I begin to wonder, what if we became less dependent to our phones?

My Bucket List

Hey guys! I'm super tired, I didn't have my normal 7 hours of sleep last night. :'( BUT today I decided to make an E-Bucket List. I used to keep my in my wallet at all times but somehow it disappeared or I lost it, so I figured I'd make a blog post about it, these are in no specific order.


Full body workout plans or ideas

I decided for today's post I wanted to give you guys my workout! I've never written it out before but I got so bored at work that I decided this would be a good blog post. Okay so I go to the gym 3 times a week for about an hour and half, I've been trying to motivate myself to go another day in the week but it's hard! I'm determined to do it this summer, I will consistently workout four days a week, and eventually I want to get up to working out 5-7 times a week. The workout I'll be posting mainly consists of legs and abs but I did throw in a few arm workouts. :)  So here it goes.


10 things I look for in a Guy

Let me start out by saying I do not remember who wrote the blog post that inspired me to do the same. I've been meaning to make this blog post for a really long time now, I read a blog a while a go where a lady made a list of things that she wanted in a man, future husband, etc. I wanted to follow in her footsteps and create my own. I'm not the type of person to make a checklist, and I'm not a high maintenance girl whatsoever. Really laid back actually. With that being said I believe this would be a wonderful idea, for both girls and guys.

Why should you eat breakfast? 5 HUGE reasons why to eat breakfast.

Okay so I know you have heard this about 500,000 times before but breakfast is seriously the most important meal of the day! (It may have to do a little with me being grumpy if I can't have it :p) Sometimes times a few extra minutes of sleep may sound more appealing to you.. But it shouldn't. Also some people skip it for weight loss, that is probably the worst mistake you could make. You have always heard this as a kid, on TV, from basically everywhere. Why exactly is breakfast the most important meal of the day?
